Bio


Alen Lin is a Los Angeles-based photographer and photo retoucher. A graduate of University of California, Berkeley, Alen has worked as a professional photographer since 2007.


As an interior photographer, he has worked as a contributor to ZAGAT, Eater.com, and UrbanDaddy. His archive of over 10000 images, documents over 300 new restaurants and bars in the Greater Los Angeles Region between the five year span between 2007-2012. His work can be seen on Elle Decor, Gourmet Magazine, DineLA.com, Metromix.com, Eater.com, CitySearch, BizBash Magazine, LA Direct Magazine, USATODAY.COM, and NBCLosAngeles.com. 


As a food photographer, he has worked with The London West Hollywood Hotel, Gordon Ramsay, Boxwood Cafe, Asia de Cuba, The Foundry on Melrose, Sadie Restaurant, Citrus at Social Hollywood, as well as many top chefs in the industry. 


For five consecutive years, his photos have appeared as nominees for the AIA-Los Angeles Restaurant Design Awards.


He is the owner of Studio 1444 located on the corner of Highland and Sunset.
